The Katy Athletic and Leadership Academy is a non-profit organization that exists to "train coaches and athletes with character."   KALA was established in January 2005 with a mission to transform the culture of youth sports by reshaping the thinking of coaches, athletes, and parents so young athletes can enjoy sports and have a character-building experience.  KALA objecitves are to redefine winning, to equip coaches and athletes to excel, and to be a catalyst for change in youth sports.

The Katy Athletic and Leadership Academy has a network of coaches that not only care for young people, but also are experts in thier sport.  KALA allows these men and women the opportunity to train athletes while equipping and encouraging them to develop attitudes and skills that enable them to make right choices on and off the field.   The foundation of each KALA program is the EAS Sports Performance Program.

More information on the Katy Athletic and Leadership Academy and our programs is available on this website.  If you have further questions, please email KALA's Director, Bob Atkins, at bobatkins@katyala.org.
